Step eight: I wet sanded the second layer of paint. Wet sanding is necessary to applying many layers of paint and achieving the reflective finish. And also buffing the paint, removing scratches or imperfections. After wet sanding I wiped the shield with a rag and some rubbing alcohol to remove the shaved paint bits.
Step nine: Once the alcohol dried we sprayed a third coat of red onto the shield. Allowing it to dry for the day Mr. Whittington allowed me to begin pulling the tape off!!!
Step ten: The pulling off of the tape!! The most anticipated and exciting part of any project!
